Military Participation in Rexall
Edmonton Indy 2008 & Red Friday Rally

As part of Joint Task Force West, Op Connection, the Rexall Edmonton Indy was used to showcase military personnel and the Canadian Forces' and its roles and capabilities July 24 -26,2008.

Static displays from the Army, Air Force and Navy as well as a recruiting booth and a Kiddie Commando course were set up at the entrance to Gate 1. This is an annual event held at the Edmonton City Airport.

The Snowbirds preform one of their many acrobatic maneuvers over the Northlands Race track during the Red Friday celebration.

Captain Gagne is a Griffon Pilot with 408 Tactical Helicopter Squadron, PO2 McMillian is with HMCS Edmonton, Corporal Qualtier is with the First Battalion Princess Patrica's Canadian Light Infantry, Corporal Andronyk is with the RCMP K Division. Stephanie Savage sings the National Anthem.
